Delivery Details

Nationwide Delivery is available Tuesday-Friday. 

 

No Post Office Box or Saturday Deliveries.

 

We don't recommend using NZPost's redirection service. Please advise us of any address changes prior to dispatch 

 

Christchurch - $10.00 per delivery

South Island - $15.00 per delivery

North Island - $21.00 per delivery

Rural Delivery - $5.00 addition per delivery

 

Orders received daily before 6am Monday to Thursday will be packed and dispatched the same day for delivery the following weekday. Orders placed after 6am on Thursdays will be dispatched the following Monday. Oceans North Seafood do not process orders on Friday, Saturday, or Sunday. Please note some products in our collection require a 2-weekday lead time as they are harvested/caught to order. This will be detailed in the product description of such products.

All products will be delivered in insulated poly-bins with gel-ice packs and may include biodegradable wool-cool or packing material for extra insulation (if required).

We choose to partner with NZ Post Couriers for Nationwide deliveries. We have an arrangement with them whereby our poly-bins are kept in chillers located at all the main depots during transit. This provides an extra layer of security around the cold chain.

All orders are sent on an overnight service. You will be emailed a tracking number on the day of dispatch which we recommend tracking through http://trackandtrace.courierpost.co.nz/. All parcels will be left by the courier unless you request ‘signature required’ at the order checkout. There will be an added fee of $1.00 for this service.

Delivery to Rural Post addresses may take up to 48 hours from dispatch. There will be an added fee of $5 for Rural Deliveries. Orders placed after 6am on any Wednesday will be held over to the following week to ensure a successful delivery prior to any weekend.

Orders that do not have the correct Rural delivery address (and not paid the NZ Post $5 extra charge) may be delayed within the NZ Post network.
In the instance that a customer has not correctly entered a Rural Delivery Address on their order, Oceans North Seafood will not be Liable for any damage nor make any refunds regarding any dissatisfaction with the product(s) once delivered.

Please leave a detailed note (99 characters max) if you have specific delivery instructions for the courier driver. Please note courier drivers will not call to advise of an ETA.

Occasionally adverse weather conditions will affect the operations of our courier services or inter island air freight, in which case we will contact you to re-arrange delivery.
