Hoki is caught in New Zealand waters and taken fresh from the boat, prepared, smoked using South Island beech and manuka and then vacuum packed to seal in its fresh flavour and moistness.

 

Smoked Hoki is ready to eat - great as a finger food (serve on crackers with gherkins, lemon juice or capers), added to salads, as a sandwich filling, in a pie or with white sauce. You can serve it chilled, or warm it to enhance the flavour and aroma.
